Our story

Hello, My name is Dave Ford and together with my dog, Logan (the Whippet), I am exploring the countryside in the South of England. As well as coming across fabulous views, the two of us discover and investigate interesting aspects along the way.

NEW FOREST WALK : GODSHILL

At Godshill, New Forest we see stunning views, we meet a baby Donkey, explore a WW2 Decoy Airfield & stumble across a cricket pitch.

NEW FOREST WALK : FRITHAM

We walk around Fritham (New Forest) & explore an old Gunpowder Factory site, a Roman Road, a WW2 Bomb range hut and even see some deer.

NEW FOREST WALK : BROCKENHURST

Logan & I take a route from Brockenhurst through stunning woodland. We meet some classic "steam" cars, explore a butterfly walk & pony pound

NEW FOREST WALK : BOLDERWOOD

We take a walk around Bolderwood (New Forest). Experiencing some stunning woodland we visit the Canadian Cross War Memorial & Radnor Stone.

NEW FOREST WALK : BEAULIEU ROAD

Logan & I explore Beaulieu Road (New Forest) & see the Pony Sales Yard, Charcoal Burner's Pit & experience the Pony Drift close up!

NEW FOREST WALK : MILLYFORD BRIDGE

Logan & I follow a circular walk at Millyford Bridge & explore the Portuguese Fireplace Memorial, saw mill remains & plenty of wildlife

NEW FOREST WALK ; FROGHAM

Logan & I walk from Frogham to Hampton Ridge, with great views, coming across ponies & donkeys and evidence of the WW2 bombing range.

NEW FOREST WALK : RUFUS STONE

We explore the Rufus Stone (where William II died) & take a walk through surrounding woodland, meeting a pony or two, ending back at the pub
